ELASTIderm Décolletage System: Best of the Bust

What is ELASTIderm™?

How Does ELASTIderm™ Work?

The ELASTIderm Décolletage System uses a two-step treatment application. First, patients apply a skin lightening complex to the neck and chest, and then a wrinkle reducing lotion. The skin lightening complex includes the active ingredient hydroquinone to treat hyperpigmentation, age spots and photo damage. To improve skin elasticity and diminish wrinkles, ELASTIderm's wrinkle reducing lotion contains malonic acid and a collagen-building, bi-mineral formula. Both treatments are applied to the chest and neck twice a day, and both contain Obagi's Penetrating Therapeutics™ technology, which facilitates better product absorbency and deeper penetration into skin.

After undergoing a 24-week clinical study conducted by the University of Pennsylvania Health Systems and KGL Inc., the ELASTIderm Décolletage System proved itself as a successful treatment for photodamaged skin, discoloration and fine wrinkles on the chest and neck. At the beginning of the study, all test patients had moderate to severe levels of photo damage, hyperpigmentation and fine wrinkles on their décolletage area. By week 12, more than half of patients were seeing improvements on all three levels. At the end of the study, 69% of patients showed minimal or mild photo damage, 79% of patients showed minimal or no hyperpigmentation, and 100% of patients showed only a mild or minimal presence of fine wrinkling on treated areas.
