What is Bremenn Research Labs Hylexin?

Considering how common dark undereye circles are, there aren’t many products on the market that effectively decrease the appearance of them. Enter Bremenn Research Labs Hylexin, a product geared specifically toward counteracting unattractive dark circles. Hylexin claims to help lighten even the most serious dark circles that are a result of genetic predisposition in addition to slight darkness caused by sleep deprivation and allergies.

How does Bremenn Research Labs Hylexin work?

Simply put, dark undereye circles are caused by broken blood vessels underneath the eyes. More specifically, they’re caused by hemoglobin breakdown. As hemoglobin degrades, it gives off red and blue colors which are visible under the delicate skin surrounding the eye. Hemoglobin degradation may be caused by sleep deprivation, oversleep, allergies, and anemia. You can also be genetically predisposed to develop dark undereye circles. Hylexin encourages the production of enzymes to ward off that red and blue pigmentation. Hylexin also strengthens the capillary walls, which prevents fluid from leaking into the preorbital area.

To use Hylexin, apply a small amount of Hylexin to clean, dry undereye skin twice a day. Some users said that it’s drying, so follow with a moisturizing eye cream. Don’t use Hylexin more than three times in a 24 hour period because it’s a very concentrated product.

Where to find Bremenn Research Labs Hylexin

You can find a 0.5 ounce tube of Bremenn Research Labs Hylexin for about $60 at specialty beauty stores like Ulta or Sephora and online.

Risks and side effects of Bremenn Research Labs Hylexin

Hylexin is a relatively safe product, but if you are pregnant or nursing consult your doctor before using Hylexin. Sensitive skin may not react well to Hylexin and a burning sensation may occur. Remember, Hylexin claims to treat dark circles only—so if you are also looking to treat other undereye problems like sagging or puffiness, Hylexin may not be right for you.

Beyond Bremenn Research Labs Hylexin

If you’re looking to treat your dark undereye circles, Hylexin may be a good starting point. But if you also deal with sagging, puffiness, and other signs of undereye aging, you’ll want to look toward other options. Fraxel laser resurfacing has been proven to eliminate puffiness around the eyes. If you’d like to discuss your options for dark undereye circle treatment, we can schedule you a free consultation with a skincare specialist in your area.
