| Uses for Microdermabrasion |

The best thing about Microdermabrasion is its versatility. Depending on your area of focus, a Microdermabrasion can produce great results on a wide variety of skin problems, from large pores to acne, acne scars, rosacea, age spots, wrinkles, and in some cases, stretch marks! Because of this versatility and its relative affordability (about $100 per treatment), Microdermabrasions have become the preferred solution for the skin care patient on a budget.

| How Microdermabrasion Works |
|
A Microderm or Microdermabrasion is a skin exfoliation process that usually involves a pressurized stream of oxide crystals. Medical spas and skin care clinics use a wide variety of crystals and some offer crystal-free Microdermabrasion, such as Vibraderm (a method involving vibrating paddles). During the treatment, Microdermabrasion crystals bombard the skin and remove dirt, oil, and dead skin cells to help renew the skin’s surface. The procedure is low risk and affordable, making it an ideal treatment to start with.
